I love grilling year-round — it’s one of my favorite ways to prepare a big dinner or make proteins for the week. Living in the Pacific Northwest, though, I’ve struggled to grill outdoors with Seattle weather. That’s why bringing an indoor grill into the kitchen has been a game changer for me.

We recently got the Ninja Foodi Pro Grill and it’s impressive. It’s far more than a small appliance that mimics an outdoor grill — you can air crisp, grill, bake, roast and even dehydrate across a wide temperature range (105–500°F). It’s virtually smoke free, which is a huge bonus for indoor grilling. With it, I roasted fingerling potatoes and grilled juicy turkey burgers and zucchini. The recipe is below.

Grilling is an easy way to make meals that feel fresh and healthy — quality protein, plenty of vegetables and a complex carb. For me, potatoes are a weakness, and the Foodi Pro Grill makes roasting them effortless. It preheats in under 10 minutes and cooks quickly, so dinner is on the table fast.

For our meal I made crispy fingerling potatoes, herb-packed turkey burgers (I added spinach and bell pepper into the mix) and grilled zucchini. Toppings were served on the side so everyone could customize their burger.

I’m convinced this indoor grill makes turkey burgers just as juicy as an outdoor grill — and it does it in a fraction of the time. Below is the recipe I used for a simple, flavorful weeknight grilling dinner.
Grilled Turkey Burgers, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Grilled Veggies
Ingredients
Turkey Burgers
- 1 lb organic ground turkey
- 1/2 bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 red onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup freshly chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup finely chopped spinach
- 2-3 tbsp goat cheese
- 1/2 tsp pink salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
Grilled Zucchini
- 1-2 zucchini, cut into quarter slices
- 1/2 tbsp avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp adobo seasoning
Roasted Potatoes
- 1 lb fingerling potatoes
- 1/2 tbsp avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp seasoning of choice
Instructions
-
Preheat the Ninja Foodi Pro Grill on the Grill function.
-
In a large bowl, combine all burger ingredients and mix until combined. Form the mixture into four patties. Toss zucchini (or another vegetable) with the oil and adobo seasoning.
-
When the grill is preheated, place the patties on the grill grate and close the lid. Set a 10-minute timer and flip once near the 8-minute mark for grill marks. Add zucchini to the grate with about 5 minutes remaining.
-
For the potatoes, preheat the Foodi Grill on Roast. Toss fingerlings with oil and your chosen seasoning, place on the roasting rack and roast for about 10 minutes—no flipping required.
